WMC Commitment

  1. All judges selected for this competition are nationally or internationally recognised qualified experts in their field and meet the roles and responsibilities of the WMC judging criteria.
  2. The judging is based on the evaluation of each category and is assessed practically through observations as listed in the judging criteria.
  3. The decision taken by the Judges is final. The final judgment decision is based on the criteria set and is non-negotiable.

 

Participants Competition Entry

  1. The competition is open to both National and International participants.
  2. All participants are required to bring their own model.
  3. All models must be over the age of 16 years and have given consent prior to the competition. We recommend using a new model per each category.
  4. The responsibility of entering the correct competition category lies with the participant.
  5. Once a participant has registered, they cannot change categories.
  6. Competition is open to qualified and professional therapists only.
  7. The WMC and event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any participant.
  8. All participants and their models may be videoed/photographed for the purpose of marketing and use on social media platforms during the competition and for the future.

  10. Each category will have a 1st, 2nd and 3rd winner. The overall winner of the competition will be the one who has gained the most points during their judging round.
  11. Translators can be allowed where English is a second language, however the translator must not be on the competition floor during the judging.

Penalties

  1. If a participant has entered the wrong category, they will then not be included in the overall judging and be automatically disqualified.
  2. It is the responsibility of the participant to follow the rules and criteria set.

Fees & Refunds

  1. Competition entrance fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
  2. Participants can enter multiple categories for the competition.
  3. In the unfortunate event that the competition must be cancelled by the organisers, for whatever reason, participants will be automatically transferred and entered in a new scheduled competition.
  4. Where a competition has been cancelled, for whatever reason, WMC and its organisers will not be liable for any expenses incurred by the participant (e.g. travel fares, hotel bookings, etc.).

Media – Photography & Video:

  1. Any media footage to include photographic imagery and or videos will be the property of the WMC and event organisers and used in appropriate marketing and social media platforms.
  2. Any filming/photography used in a commercial setting of the WMC Championship is only permitted when approved by organisers of the competition.
