The World Massage Council (WMC) is a collective of international leaders in massage therapy. The council works to promote, support, and raise the profile of national and international massage competitions through carefully designed formats, selection of judges, and the positioning of the competition within an educational and professional framework. Through the work and advocacy of the council we aim to transform international standards in massage practice, training, and quality assurance. As a world organisation, we celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion and recognise professionalism within our personal work as well as the competitions we organise.

The World Massage Council (WMC) was created to ensure that Massage Therapists around the globe are getting the highest quality of education and services from authentic and professional bodies such as schools, colleges, training providers, associations, suppliers and agencies.

WMC will promote/approve any professional body, activity, or event whose work is related to the massage industry once it has reviewed and confirmed that the quality of service and stands meet the approval of WMC board.

Our objectives are to:

1. Elevate the quality of massage therapy globally.

2. Provide high standards for any event or activity related to massage therapy.

3. Provide high levels of quality assurance for training as well as massage competitions internationally.
